Back to the overview
Start with an off-center midpoint.
Create a pouch around your child and hold the strands close to its body on chest height.
Support your child onto your forearm. Its legs face to one side, the strands to the other side.
Bring your child over your shoulder onto your back.
Bend over, split the strands and bring your head through the internal one.
Arrange the fabric and secure that the inner edge runs at the neck of your child, the outer edge should run underneath the bottom of your child.
Create the strap while pushing the fabric between the legs of your child (spread-squat-position).
Tighten both strands one by one.
Slip through the longer strand and tighten it again.
Now, one strand runs horizontal underneath your armpit and creates the chest pass. The pass runs across the strand fixed before.
Turn the fabric around the strand hanging from your shoulder so that the negative side appears.
Bring it to your back.
The strand runs above both legs of your child.
Use the lower edge as part of the strap.
Tighten the fabric carefully.
Arrange the fabric in front of you.
The strand runs underneath the other one, now.
Turn the fabric around the same strand again, but to the other direction.
Tighten the strands.
Fan out the fabric across the back of your child diagonally.
Knot it on chest height.
That`s what the Taiwanese One Shoulder Back Carry looks like!
