Simple Backpack without a pouch as a clip:
Position your baby on your hip.
Let your baby slide under your armpit onto your back.
Spread out the sling across the back of your baby. Make sure that the midpoint is under its neck while lean a little bit forward.
Bring your baby into the spread-squat-position by pushing the excess sling fabric between its bum and knees.
Bring the sling strands over your shoulders back to your front.
Tighten strand by strand. If the fabric under your babys knees slips upwards push it under the sling cross again by hopping slightly up and down.
Twist the strands several times.
Bring them to your back again, underneath your armpits, across the baby's legs, and cross the strands under your babys bum ...
... and bring them underneath your baby`s legs forward again.
Tie both ends of the sling in front of your belly with a double or flat knot.
Now, squat your baby inside the pouch by pushing its lower legs gently upwards.
How to remove the Simple Backpack:
Unravel the knot and lean a little bit forward.
Let your baby slide onto your hip.
