Information about the - Semi Front Wrap Cross Carry with a Slipknot
- Age: from sitting age
- Sling size: from size 3 - 320 cm
The classical Wrap Cross Carry appears in a new and trendy robe. This technique can be tied simply and fast with a short wrap.

Back to the overview
Start with a moved midpoint (off-center) of your Fidella® baby wrap and bring it over your shoulder diagonally. Now, you have a long and a short strap of fabric.
Bring the longer strand around your hip back to your front (underneath the short strand)…
… and then to your back again.
Then, bring it back to the front.
Fix the strand between your knees and create a pouch.
Position your child on the strand.
Fan out the fabric across the back of your child.
Create a stirrup by pushing the fabric between the legs of your child (spread-squat-position).
Secure your child with the other hand.
Fan out the fabric from underneath the leg of your child diagonally across its back.
Start with the slip knot while wrapping the longer strand once around the shorter one - bottom-up.
Then, bring the longer strand down again, underneath the hanging one. A loop is created.
Grab through the loop and pull the fabric through it.
Fan out the fabric over your shoulder.
Tighten strand by strand near the knot.
