Front Carry multilayer as a clip:
Place the hip strap (rounded ends) in front of your belly and...
... fix it with a double knot on your back.
Hold your baby in front of your belly (newborns: bum should be at hip belt height; older babies: bum should be a little bit above hip belt height) and ...
... pull the back part over your baby's back. One hand should always secure your baby.
Put both straps, (pointed ends) one after another, over your shoulder. While doing that always secure your baby with one hand.
Cross the shoulder straps on your back and bring them back to your front.
Tighten the strands while rolling your shoulders.
Cross the shoulder straps across your baby's bum and ...
... bring them underneath the baby's legs to your back again.
Fix the straps with a double knot at your back.
Fan out the shoulder straps over your shoulders. So, the weight is better spread out onto your whole shoulders.
A single-layer technique is recommended to carry newborns. So, less pressure is applied on the baby`s back.
