Step 1

Start with an off-center midpoint of your baby wrap.

Step 2

Create a pouch around your child. Hold both strands on its chest height close to it.

Step 3

Secure your child on your forearm. Its legs face forward, the strands to the other side.

Step 4

Bring your child over your shoulder onto your back.

Step 5

Bend over and split the strands. Slip with your head through the inner one.

Step 6

Arrange the fabric and secure that the inner edge runs at the neck of your child, the outer edge should run underneath the bottom of your child.

Step 7

Create the strap while pushing the fabric between the legs of your child (spread-squat-position).

Step 8

Tighten the fabric strand by strand.

Step 9

Slip through the longer strand and tighten it again.

Step 10

One strand runs diagonally now and creates the chest pass. Fix the other strand between your knees. The chest pass runs across this strand.

Bring the longer strand underneath the leg of your child to your back.

Step 12

Fan out the fabric across the bottom of your child.

Step 13

Bring the strand, underneath the leg of your child, back to the front.

Hold everything under tension.

Step 15

Bring the strand around your hip, across the other strand, to your front.

Both strands are at your front now.
