Step-by-step:

Step 1
Start with an off-center midpoint of your baby wrap.

Step 2
Create a pouch around your child and hold the strands in its chest height in front of its body.

Step 3
Support your baby onto your forearm. Its legs point to one side, the strands to the other one.

Step 4
Bring your child, inside the pouch, over your shoulder onto your back.

Step 5
Bend forward and split the strands. Slip with your head through the inner strand.

Step 6
Arrange the fabric: The inner edge of the fabric runs on neck height of the child; the outer edge runs at the bottom of your baby.

Both strands hang over your shoulders to your front.

Step 8
Create the strap by pushing the fabric between the legs of your child (spread-squat-position).

Tighten the fabric strand by strand and fix the shorter one between your knees.

Slip with your arm through the longer strand and tighten it.
